1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Cookie Counter, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Cookie Counter is a health and fitness application that:

Reads your Active Energy Burned data from Apple HealthKit
Converts calories to "cookie equivalents" for a fun way to track activity
Provides daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activity visualizations
Sends optional notifications for activity milestones

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cookie Counter. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. HealthKit Integration

Cookie Counter requires access to Apple HealthKit to function. You grant the App permission to read your Active Energy Burned data. You can revoke this permission at any time through iOS Settings.

        Data Handling: Cookie Counter only reads data from HealthKit. We never write, modify, or delete any health data. All data processing occurs locally on your device.
    

5. Medical Disclaimer

Cookie Counter is NOT a medical device.

The App is intended for entertainment and general wellness motivation only
Cookie equivalents are approximations and should not be used for dietary planning
Do not use this App to make health, fitness, or nutritional decisions
Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice
The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use the App only for its intended purpose
Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or hack the App
Not use the App in any way that violates applicable laws
Understand that calorie data depends on your device and health tracking accuracy

7. Intellectual Property

Cookie Counter and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Cookie Counter is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
Calorie calculations will be accurate
The App will meet your specific requirements
Data from HealthKit will always be available

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cookie Counter and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Cookie Counter at any time without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the App.

13. Termination

You may stop using Cookie Counter at any time by deleting the App from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms.
